BIG BRO

Yesterday, big bro flew in from Doha and came to little old Broadstairs to take his mum and sisters to lunch at the Dickens...he's just the same, irreverent, sharp, fun, and the matriarch was in her element with three of her four children around her....

WEIGHT WATCHERS WEEK 16

Well I really haven't been good this week and on top of that I've been ill, so I wasn't really expecting to lose anything... but I did: Minus 750g I think my metabolism has really started to burn now, it's understood that it's never going to be starved...

MONEY TALKS

No, actually, money screams! The matriarch has had her last three eye appointments cancelled and replaced with one in April, which would have made her more than a year overdue for her AMD check-up...in the meantime, her good eye has been getting progressively...

IS FRESH AIR REALLY GOOD FOR YOU?

WEIGHT WATCHERS WEEK 15

Minus 1kg I don't know how I'm doing it, but I keep on losing even when I think I'm not doing well...it's great, roll on the Summer and all those little tops and flimsey trousers. Total loss 14kg

On Saturday golfer and I went to Bluewater to have my eyes assessed for laser correction treatment. The bad news is I'm not suitable as I have the beginnings of cataracts in both eyes. I was shocked and frightened until golfer pointed out that the operation...

I'M GOING ON HOLIDAY!

As part of his quest to make up for all the tossers I've been out with, golfer is taking me to Cowes week on the Isle of Wight this Summer, how cool is that? So I shall be away from the 1st to the 8th of August, swanning up and down the promenade at Cowes...
