JULIE & JULIA

Makes you want to cook! Not sure how Julie Powell managed to cook all those recipes and not put on an ounce though...an unusual film, not very exciting, but entertaining. Meryl Streep, as always, was superb, what an actress!

I was looking forward to seeing this, having read the book and found Oscar Wilde to be a clever and enthrawling storyteller, but the film was a disappointment. Too dark, too lurid, too violent, too gory and with ridiculous special effects used to bring...

QUANTUM OF SOLACE

Wowee Mister Bond, what a roller coaster ride! Exciting, scary, very pleasing on the eye - thanks to Daniel Craig. An all action movie and the first Bond film I've actually liked, well worth going to see.
