SUBTLE DIFFERENCES

Having someone live with you in your house is not the same as living with someone in a home belonging to both of you...not a major discovery you might say, but a very different situation to adjust to when you've been used to being in charge of everything...

AN EMPTY SPACE

There's like an echo in my front room! I sold my sofa bed and armchair and now we're reduced to sitting on garden chairs to watch Eastenders...only trouble is, we haven't signed the contract on the new flat yet, if it falls through golfer will be bringing...

MY CUTIE

I recently changed my Peugeot 307 for a sexy little 107 and can now report that it's a real little cutie, I love it to bits. Agile, economical, nippy, it does me very well and makes me feel young again...not that I had a car when I was young, but you...

CUT YOUR COAT TO SUIT YOUR CLOTH...

...so they say; so tomorrow I'm picking up my new Peugeot 107 and leaving my 307 in part exchange. Next week glofer is changing his Mondeo for a Focus...this is all because the car parking spaces that come with our new home in Broadstairs are too small...

DONE DEAL

Thanks to golfer's tenacity and footballer's generosity (they're good these sportsmen), the flat is ours! The paperwork is with the Solicitor and we are going to check that the work is completed to our satisfaction on Thursday; we should be moving within...

WHITE OR LIGHT WOOD?

There's a debate raging between golfer and me about the colour of our kitchen...I want light wood with a Cuban red wall to accommodate the African theme I already have going on in my current kitchen, he wants white, white and more white...what do do think?...

THERE'S MANY A SLIP...

Yesterday, golfer wrote the holding cheque for the flat...it's not every day you write a cheque for £5,000! It's looking great and we're very excited; it's very stressful though, lots to think about, a lot of changes, a lot of hurdles, I won't relax until...
